Year 1
Welcome to Robins class! We are the Year 1 class at Bluebird Primary School. This page tells you what we are learning, when our PE days are, and how to do well in class. If you have a question, ask Mr Tom Gallagher at the end of a session, or ask on our Discord server.
This term's learning
- Topic: Toys through time and Seasonal changes
- English: traditional tales — The Little Red Hen; writing sentences with capital letters and full stops
- Maths: place value within 10; addition and subtraction within 10
- Science: autumn changes and the animals around us
Homework and how to help at home
- Reading: your teacher may set a short reading task to talk about in the next session.
- Spellings and times tables: practise the list your teacher gives you.
- Be ready: wear your uniform, and change into PE kit on PE days.
